Nomura AM Poaches Bond Manager From Neuberger Berman

Patel joins from Neuberger Berman, where he has worked since 2016 and served as an associate portfolio manager on the investment grade credit team, with a specific focus on non-US dollar corporate bonds. Prior to that, he worked as an investment manager at Killik & Co, and as an analyst at Third Financial.

Patel will be based in London and will report to his former Neuberger Berman colleague Julian Marks, head of corporate hybrid bonds and co-manager of the fund.

Nomura AM launches EM corporate bond fund

"Kapish has significant experience in the corporate hybrid bond market, which continues to grow as issuers seek to optimise their capital structures, support their credit ratings and minimise their weighted cost of capital by issuing these bonds," said Marks.

"He joins a strong and experienced team, and we very much look forward to working together to consistently add value for our investors"
