BlackRock Adds Alexandra Dangoor To Greater Europe Trust Management

Dangoor takes on the new role as a promotion, having worked in the BlackRock fundamental European equity team as an analyst since 2019.

She joined BlackRock as part of its graduate rotation program, during which she worked as an analyst across its natural resources and European equity teams.

BlackRock Greater Europe trust to drop co-manager Sam Vecht

In her previous roles, her research contributed to Gries' strategies, including the Greater Europe trust.

BlackRock Investment Management said the appointment reflects Dangoor's "excellent alpha contribution as a research analyst, as well as the team's ongoing commitment to the development of talent from within".

The move comes less than a year after Sam Vecht was dropped from the trust's management team, which BlackRock said reflected "the current focus and asset allocation within the portfolio".
