Women In Investment: Face-to-face With Alison Porter

Continuing with our series of interviews with winners of the Women In Investment Awards 2018, Investment Week talks to Alison Porter of Janus Henderson Investors.

Porter, who is a portfolio manager on the firm's global technology team, won the Fund Manager of the Year (Large Firms) award at last year's ceremony.

Prior to Henderson in 2014, she was at Ignis Asset Management as an investment analyst, portfolio manager and head of US equities.

Porter holds a BA (Hons) in economics and industrial relations from the University of Strathclyde and a Master's degree in investment analysis from the University of Stirling. She has 24 years' financial industry experience.
