Key Words: Donald Trump Will Win In A 2020 Blowout, Predicts Anthony Scaramucci

Anthony Scaramucci, the SkyBridge Capital founder who briefly — very briefly — served as White House communications director, is predicting an absolute blowout for Donald Trump in the 2020 election.

That’s Scaramucci explaining to CNBC in an interview on Wednesday how he ultimately sees the upcoming election playing out.

If that happens, Trump would be the first candidate to win 40 states in a general election since George H.W. Bush in 1988. CNBC pointed out that Ronald Reagan carried 49 states in his 1984 reelection bid.

Trump’s path might get even easier if Joe Biden wins the Democratic nomination, Scaramucci said. “I think he wants Biden because I think he can compare and contrast himself to the 50-year establishment failure in Washington.”

Scaramucci, however, says he believes one of the more progressive, younger candidates will eventually emerge as the nominee.

According to a recent Quinnipiac poll, Biden’s support, currently at 22% of Democratic voters, is eroding, as rival Kamala Harris makes big gains.
