The next wellness tourism destination isn’t in Switzerland, Thailand, or even Bali – it’s in Saudi Arabia.

Part of the Red Sea Global megaproject, AMAALA is set to feature nine luxury resorts from big names like Clinique La Prairie, Equinox and Nammos once complete.
While you’ll still have to wait a while for many of these brands to open, you can now book in for a stay at Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay.
Located on the Kingdom’s northwestern Red Sea Coast, the new property is around a two-hour drive from Shura Island, Red Sea Global’s other major project – and where Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea at Shura Island opened last month.
“What’s truly exciting here at Triple Bay is the intentional approach to wellness that extends throughout the entire destination,” Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay general manager Ulf Bremer said.
“It’s so much more than a spa resort – it’s a place where individuals can define their own wellbeing, with abundant opportunities for cultural exploration, natural discovery, personal growth and more than a little indulgence at Four Seasons and beyond.”
The 202-key property spans rooms, suites and garden villas, all with spectacular sea views.
As you might expect from a wellness resort, the star of the show is undoubtedly HYLIAA Wellness & Spa.
Named for the Arabic word for “elegant beauty”, the spa spans 2,095 sq m, including a 511 sq m fitness area.
Here, you can book in for massages and facials, or try hot and cold therapies with the sauna, heated whirlpool, cold plunge pools and cryo chamber.
Four Seasons offers one-, two- or three-day wellness journeys tailored to your goals, with activities on offer including sunrise yoga on the beach, sound healing sessions, culinary workshops, and guided stargazing and astrology.
If your idea of wellness is more about lying on a sun lounger, there are five pools as well as a 900-metre beach.
On the food front, three of the hotel’s six restaurants and lounges are open so far: MAA Social, which serves up immunity-boosting Middle Eastern dishes; OAASIS Lounge; and ALMAA Pool & Bar which has a kombucha kiosk and a menu featuring healthy Mediterranean plates.
Later on in 2026, the eateries will be joined by ZAATAR Restaurant, which has Asian, Persian and Arabic food; the SAFAA Beach Bar and Lounge; and the ROCK BAAR, which will have a view over the private beach and will serve up mocktails and tapas.
Outside of the resort itself, Four Seasons guests will be able to take a tour of Corallium, a research facility focused on marine conservation, or visit the Yacht Club and the nearby shops and restaurants.
You can reach Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay via Red Sea International Airport or NEOM Bay Airport, both of which are a two-hour drive away.
For those flying domestically, Al-Wajh Airport, around a 50-minute drive away, has three flights from Riyadh and two from Jeddah operated by Saudia.
