In a recent tweet, Porter stated that former President Donald Trump is set to announce a USA Bitcoin strategic reserve during his appearance at the Nashville Bitcoin 2024 conference.

You know that. That’s why today, I’m announcing something big, something huge. We’re going to buy government Bitcoin. That’s right.”
Ford’s hypothetical scenario even includes a price prediction, suggesting Bitcoin could hit “$80K in a single candle” following such an announcement.
