Anthony Scaramucci Joins Kamala Harris To Draft Campaign Crypto Policy

SkyBridge founder, Anthony Scaramucci has admitted that he and a group of crypto advocates have joined VP Kamala Harris to draft her campaign’s policies on crypto.

On Thursday, Scaramucci addressed a panel at a major crypto event, TOKEN2049, where he shared, “There’s a group of cryptocurrency advocates, bitcoin advocates etc. that are working alongside her to distance the Democratic Party away from Elizabeth Warren and [Gary Gensler].”

Former Trump aide Scaramucci voiced his belief in crypto making progress, as he confided that Harris has been hearing out crypto advocates, who are encouraging for industry-friendly policies. In fact, Harris is said to be a part of some of these crypto discussions coming up this week.

Scaramucci wanted Harris to have discussion on crypto without any participation from Warren and Gensler, who are infamous for their hostility towards the crypto industry.

Scaramucci had previously aided former President Donald Trump as a Communications Director at the White House in 2017 for ‘only’ six days, which caused a rift between the two.

Scaramucci’s comments come against the backdrop of Trump’s constant pro-crypto stunts including his recent ‘Bitcoin Burger’ gimmick and the launch of his crypto project, ‘World Liberty Financial’.

However, Scaramucci also applauded Trump for understanding the significance of crypto for the United States, and thinks “ironically, he’s pulling the Democrats along into a centrist position on regulation.”

Scaramucci’s comments are a an attempt to instill confidence in the crypto community which has long been criticizing Harris for not coming out in open and talking about crypto unlike Trump and other Republicans who have well-positioned their crypto stance.
