“Accessible accommodation at Hotel Brooklyn features subtle details like basins with integrated hand grips, removable matt black grab rails, accessible bedroom storage and a hidden ceiling track hoist”, said Ed Warner, founder and CEO of Motionspot.

“We hope this high level of attention paid to inclusivity will make Hotel Brooklyn one of the most sought-after venues for guests of all abilities.”

The property is part of Bespoke Hotels, a company with a focus on accessible travel. Bespoke Hotels is a co-sponsor of the Blue Badge Access Awards, which recognises hotels doing good work in the area.

Hotel Brooklyn’s lobby will lead onto a communal space where guests can get coffee or cocktails, socialise or have meetings. The hotel will also have a “cosy” public space called the Snug, with an open fireplace and record player, as well as an American-style restaurant called Runyon’s and a rooftop bar.

Rates will start at £145 per night for a double room, including breakfast.
