Brussels Airlines has unveiled new uniforms for its 2,600 cabin, cockpit and ground operation staff.

The new range has been designed by Gabrielle Szwarcenberg of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, and has been inspired by uniforms of the 1960s, with options including turtleneck tops and the A-line dress.

A colour scheme of navy blue with champagne-coloured details was chosen to align with the carrier’s new brand identity which was unveiled in 2021.

Brussels Airlines also highlighted the sustainable credentials of the uniforms, with materials including BCI-certified cotton, mulesing free wool for animal welfare, and leather made from cacti and grapes.

Old uniforms will be collected and given a second life, with more details set to be announced.
