World Insurance Associates Acquires FL-based Dan Woron Agency

World Insurance Associates (WIA) has acquired the independent insurance agency Dan Woron Agency.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Dan Woron Agency, based in Port St. Lucie, FL, specializes in homeowners, auto, business, and life insurance coverage, as well as retirement and employee benefit products. The firm has been serving clients in the Treasure Coast and South Florida areas since 1982.

“We are excited to have Dan Woron Agency as part of our growing World Insurance team,” said WIA co-founder and CEO Rich Eknoian.

Eknoian added that with the acquisition of Dan Woron Agency, WIA’s representation in Florida is now up to four offices in the state.

“We look forward to offering expanded products and resources to our clients as part of World, and being part of World’s ongoing success,” stated Dan Woron Agency owner Daniel Woron.

WIA is a full-service insurance brokerage in Tinton Falls, NJ that offers risk management, insurance, and benefit consulting services for individuals and businesses. The brokerage was founded in 2012, and has since completed 63 acquisitions. Currently, WIA has 49 offices in 12 states and the District of Columbia.
