SAN Group Appoints Agency Development Field Specialist For Northeast Region

Satellite Agency Network Group (SAN) has appointed Nick Blatchley as agency development field specialist for Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania.
In his new role, Blatchley will be directly responsible for agency development and consulting services of SAN member agencies in the two areas. He will focus on growth and income generating activities, a release said, and will work closely with Jeff Siebert, SAN regional vice-president of Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania.
Blatchley has been a licensed insurance agent for over 25 years, with extensive experience in both independent and captive agencies. He began his career by working in his father’s insurance agency – Blatchley Insurance in West Seneca, NY – and then later became the owner-operator of a Farmers Insurance agency in Cheektowaga, NY.
He is licensed in P&C and life insurance, as well as real estate in New York. He attended Hawaii Pacific University and Canisius College, where he studied business administration.
“Nick draws on a strong background in business development and agency growth that will be instrumental in this role,” said SAN senior vice-president of agency operations and development Jeff Holmes, who added that Blatchley has a “deep understanding” of the challenges and opportunities faced by the independent agency distribution channel, and that SAN is thrilled to welcome him to the team.
