GEICO promotes key executive

GEICO’s board of directors has elected Ashley Schneider to serve as assistant vice-president of the company’s product management.

In her new role, Schneider will be based in GEICO’s corporate headquarters in Chevy Chase, MD.

“Ashley’s talent and experience will help her succeed in her new role,” said GEICO president and CEO CEO Bill Roberts​. “Her efforts will contribute to GEICO’s ongoing success.”

Schneider began her career in GEICO in 2007, when she first joined the pricing and product management division. She has since held several positions within the division, with pricing & product management responsibility for five of the company’s 10 regional offices – namely, Fredericksburg, VA; Woodbury, NY; Buffalo, NY; Tucson, AZ; and San Diego, CA.

She most recently served as the leader of the company’s new product development efforts.

Schneider has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, with a concentration in actuarial science, from Loyola College in Baltimore. In addition, she is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
