Dick Insurance makes four key hires amid strong growth

Massachusetts-based Dick Insurance Agency and sister company Merrimack Financial Services have announced four new hires to support the companies’ continued growth.

“Dick Insurance Agency and Merrimack Financial Services have experienced remarkable growth in recent years,” said Brian Dick, agency co-owner. “The addition of these four new team members allows us to amplify our company’s commitment to provide clients with the best services, coverage and value in the Merrimack Valley.”

Matthew Keefe has joined Dick Insurance Agency and Merrimack Financial Services as a licensed account executive and debt management consultant. Keefe previously served as director of baseball administration for the Northeast Hurricanes, a Junior Olympics girls’ softball and boys’ baseball team headquartered in Salem, N.H.

Bonnie Welch, meanwhile, has been appointed as a commercial lines manager at Dick Insurance Agency. She has more than 20 years of industry experience. In her new role, Welch will lead the commercial lines department and work with the account executive team.

Maura Galvin has joined Dick Insurance Agency as a customer service representative. Prior to joining Dick Insurance Agency, Galvin spent more than nine years as an account coordinator for retiree groups at Tufts Health Plan.

Jonathan Dick has joined Dick Insurance Agency and Merrimack Financial Services as a licensed account executive and debt management consultant. He previously worked in the quality control department of Lonza Biologics, a multinational biotech company.

Dick Insurance Agency is a member of Satellite Agency Network Group, an alliance of independent insurance agencies in the Northeast.
