AXIS Capital Appoints Keith Schlosser As Chief Information Officer

AXIS Capital Holdings Limited has tapped industry veteran Keith Schlosser to serve as its chief information officer.
Based in British overseas territory Bermuda, the specialty lines insurance and treaty reinsurance provider said Schlosser will lead AXIS Capital’s global information technology strategy with responsibility for partnering with its insurance and reinsurance business segments and other departments to drive change throughout the organization.
Schlosser’s three decades of industry experience includes time spent as chief information officer for the overseas general insurance division at Chubb, CIO of the international division at The Travelers Companies, and vice president for marketing technology and web communications at AIG.
“Keith is a proven CIO with an accomplished career in which he has consistently driven technology enablement within top global insurance companies,” commented AXIS Capital chief operations officer Richard Strachan.
“As digital capabilities and new ways of working reshape our industry, Keith will lead the advancement of our IT capabilities to ensure we are aligned with the changing expectations of our internal and external customers.”
Outside its headquarters, AXIS Capital is also located in the US, Europe, Singapore, Middle East, Canada, and Latin America. It has shareholders’ equity of US$5.3 billion as of September 30, 2018.
