Aston Lark Names New Regional Director, Associate Director

Aston Lark has appointed Alistair Matthews as regional director of one of its new offices and Lee Parr as associate director in its commercial division.
Matthews will lead the new Thames Valley office, which recently opened together with another office in South Wales as part of Aston Lark’s growth strategy to expand its presence in the UK. He will also be responsible for a region that covers existing offices in Farnborough and Alton. A release mentioned that Matthews has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently serving as area managing director for Towergate Insurance Brokers.
“We are delighted to have someone of Alistair’s calibre come on board to lead our new Thames Valley office and continue to drive our client centric culture in Farnborough and Alton, as we embark on the next exciting phase of our growth journey,” said Aston Lark managing director of UK retail Warren Dickson.
Meanwhile, Parr will lead Aston Lark’s Derby office, to help the broker expand its reach and capability to provide support to clients in the East Midlands and South Yorkshire areas. He also has over 20 years of industry experience and was previously the branch director for PIB Insurance Brokers. Parr had also served as operations director for Cowens Group.
“We’re excited to have Lee join our team and add his expertise to our market leading commercial insurance offering – it’s a win for our business, and more importantly, our valued clients,” commented Dickson.
In a statement, Aston Lark said that a senior appointment to lead its new South Wales will be announced in February.
