Immedis Reveals Plans To Double Its Workforce By 2020

Payroll firm Immedis has announced 80 new roles in its offices in New Jersey, Dublin and Kilkenny.

Immedis, a company that specialises in global payroll technology and employment tax service, has disclosed that it will create 80 new positions across its offices in Dublin, Kilkenny and New Jersey.

The company’s increasing client base in North America and Europe has necessitated the new hires. Recruitment has already begun, and Immedis hopes to double its workforce and fill the roles by 2020.

Immedis provides payroll and tax services to individuals and organisations with overseas staff in more than 100 countries every day.

It is a specialist division of The Taxback Group, a global financial services group with more than 1,200 employees in 33 offices worldwide.

In May 2017, the company closed a $10m acquisition of US international payroll company Expaticore.

Mark Graham, executive director 0f Immedis, commented: “As Immedis continues to develop at a fast pace, it is essential to grow our team of highly skilled payroll and tax professionals.

“The nature of our tech-enabled business means we can do this on both sides of the Atlantic.”

Minister for Finance, and Public Expenditure and Reform Paschal Donohoe, TD, said: “I am very proud to be present for this announcement, and to support an indigenous Irish software success story, which is rapidly gaining market share in the global payroll provider space.

“One of the core objectives of the Government’s IFS 2020 Strategy is to strengthen, embolden and support our indigenous fintech sector to achieve international success.”

Sean McWilliams, market executive of Enterprise Ireland in North America, added: “Immedis is a great example of an Irish fintech company with global ambition, offering international payroll and employment tax solutions to clients worldwide.

“Enterprise Ireland looks forward to further collaboration with Immedis and continuing to support their global growth ambitions as they expand their reach, while continuing to create jobs in Ireland.”
