Penthouse, Tickets And Helicopters: Luxury New York Hotel Unveils $1m World Cup Final Package

It’s a million-dollar question for a football fan: Would you spend $1 million on a hotel package that includes World Cup final tickets, four nights in a luxury New York penthouse and a private helicopter trip to the stadium? Yes, you would? Then you’re in luck…

That’s because The Mark hotel, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, has unveiled exactly that – a $1m (€861,540) World Cup final package for six guests that includes all of the above and much more.

Aptly named “The Mark World Cup Extravaganza”, the luxury hotel describes the package as an “extraordinary stay designed for those who expect every moment to unfold at the highest level of luxury, privacy, and access”.

Timed around the tournament's closing weekend, the package combines a four-night stay in the hotel's famed penthouse with premium access to the World Cup final, which will take place at MetLife Stadium in neighbouring New Jersey on 19 July.

A penthouse fit for football royalty

The centrepiece of the experience is exclusive access to The Mark Penthouse. Set across the entirety of The Mark’s top two floors, this is one of the largest hotel penthouses in the US and will provide guests with their own “private headquarters” for World Cup final weekend.

Guests receive four nights in the penthouse from 16-21 July, along with two additional guest rooms for staff, security or travelling companions.

What's included:

  • Four-night stay in The Mark Penthouse
  • Exclusive use of the hotel's top two floors
  • Accommodation for six guests
  • Two additional guest rooms
  • Dedicated 24-hour butler service
  • On-call massage therapist
  • Private charter cruise through New York Harbour, passing the Statue of Liberty

Your own private World Cup viewing lounge

For those wanting to follow every kick before the final itself, the penthouse will be transformed into an ultra-luxury screening venue.

Oversized screens will broadcast matches throughout the weekend while guests relax in lounge areas with panoramic city views.

The viewing experience includes:

  • Oversized screens showing every match
  • Luxury lounge seating
  • Curated entertainment
  • Dedicated service throughout the stay
  • Access to a private gym
  • Cold plunge with Manhattan skyline views

Martinis, caviar and Central Park views

As the sun sets over Manhattan, the focus shifts to The Mark's celebrated terrace. Perched high above Madison Avenue, the outdoor space offers sweeping views across Central Park and the city skyline, accompanied by one of New York's most indulgent culinary pairings.

The terrace experience includes:

  • Chilled martinis
  • Premium caviar service from Caviar Kaspia at The Mark
  • Panoramic views across Central Park
  • Exclusive private terrace access

Helicopter transfers to the World Cup final

The headline moment comes on World Cup final day. Rather than battling traffic getting across the Hudson to New Jersey, guests will fly by private helicopter between Manhattan and the stadium before taking their seats.

Final day access includes:

  • Private helicopter transfers
  • Midfield premium seating
  • Pitch-side viewing positions
  • Exclusive hospitality lounge access
  • Dedicated stadium entrance
  • Premium matchday hospitality
  • Commemorative gifts

Following the final whistle and trophy presentation, guests will then return to The Mark for a closing celebration above the city.

Is this the ultimate in football travel experiences? Maybe it is. And it begs the final question: Who wants in?
