Nothing Beats A Jet2 Holiday, But What About A Jet2 Wedding?

Published on Updated

Jet2 is known for its affordable flights and package holidays – which we all know “nothing beats” – but there’s another side to the company that some travellers may not know about: destination weddings.

Through Jet2Weddings and in collaboration with planners Perfect Weddings Abroad Limited, couples keen to tie the knot in Europe, or even renew their vows, can book a package that includes help with legal paperwork, local marriage fees and a dedicated coordinator offering expert advice.

Packages start from £1,650 (€1,932) and also include pre-wedding planning and personalisation, on-the-day ceremony coordination, and seasonal flowers for the couple.

Travellers can also enjoy £50 off per person, including for guests, on Jet2 holiday bookings, as well as guaranteed cabin baggage and an extra 22kg allowance – no doubt to pack wedding attire and other essentials for the big day.

Since launching in December 2024, couples can now choose from 80 hotels across its recently expanded destination portfolio in Europe.

Here are some of the latest additions to the Jet2Weddings map...

Malta: Jet2 lauds the Mediterranean country for its “sunshine, stunning scenery and delicious cuisine” – a trio of necessary "essentials” for a “fabulous wedding".

Sorrento, Italy: With an array of elegant hotels to choose from and idyllic sea views, Jet2Weddings described Sorrento as a "timeless setting for a destination wedding".

Santorini, Greece: This Greek island is known for its whitewashed villages contrasted with blue-domed churches, making it perfect for post-wedding selfies. Jet2Weddings agrees, especially with the view of the caldera. The "picture opportunities are endless", the company said.

Lanzarote, Canary Islands: With year-round sunshine, Lanzarote makes every season perfect for a wedding. The island also combines volcanic landscape and more than 100 beaches with warm Canarian hospitality.

Türkiye: Jet2Weddings recommends sunset ceremonies in Türkiye: picture a warm evening with sea views across the venue as you celebrate your special day. The platform also contrasts secluded Dalaman for intimate ceremonies with Antalya beachfronts for larger wedding celebrations.

The Algarve, Portugal: The near-year-round sunshine and golden beaches make it an easy pick for couples dreaming of an outdoor ceremony. Dramatic cliffs and coastal sunset receptions also provide the perfect backdrop, as guests dine on fresh seafood.
