TIME’s Implementation of Audio Native
This week, TIME announced that it has integrated ElevenLabs' Audio Native, an embeddable audio player that generates automated voiceovers for news articles and blogs, into its website. TIME’s Chief Technology Officer, Burhan Hamid, initially connected with ElevenLabs in March 2023 while exploring text-to-speech technology. This collaboration has now come to fruition with the launch of Audio Native on select articles on TIME.com.
Readers can listen to articles voiced by ElevenLabs' Voice Library, such as this interview with Joe Biden.
