Marriott has completed “extensive renovations” of the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel and Conference Centre.

The 417-room property is directly connected to Amsterdam Schiphol, and has been revamped as part of Sheraton’s “new vision”, which draws on brand’s roots “as a community hub for locals and guests at flagship locations globally”.

Room decor has been inspired by Dutch flower fields, grasslands and the architecture around the airport, while the three crosses from the Coat of Arms of Amsterdam are reflected in the design for the hotel reception.

The new all-day dining Commune Restaurant features a “vegetarian-forward” menu, while the upscale Stripes Restaurant has a focus on grilled dishes.
