Interiors have been inspired by Manchester’s industrial heritage and contributions to art and music, with rooms paying homage to the retro designs of the 1960s and 70s.

Malmaison and its sister Hotel du Vin brands were purchased by Frasers Hospitality in 2015, and the Manchester Deansgate property will be Malmaison’s 18th, including Malmaison York which opened in 2021.

Malmaison York to open this spring

Rates at the Malmaison Manchester Deansgate start from £120 room only, including the city’s recently introduced tourist tax.

Commenting on the news Scott Harper, COO Malmaison and Hotel du Vin, said:

“Driving our food and beverage offering forward is of huge importance to Malmaison and as such we’re also incredibly proud to open our second SORA following its massive success at Malmaison York.

“Bringing SORA to Manchester alongside our signature Malmaison Bar & Grill made complete sense, reinvigorating Malmaison’s food and beverage offering in the city, and further positioning the brand as a unique dining destination.”
