Hong Kong’s Cathay Pacific Airways will resume seasonal service to Barcelona this summer.

The oneworld carrier will fly Hong Kong-Barcelona from 17 June to 26 October, three times a week.

Cathay will deploy a three-class Airbus A350-900 on the 14-hour service.

Flights will depart Hong Kong every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 0025 for arrival into Barcelona in the morning.

The return services will leave Barcelona at 1300 and touch down in Hong Kong early the next day.

The Cathay A350-900 aircraft seat 38 in 1-2-1 business class, 28 in 2-4-2 premium economy and 214 in 3-3-3 economy class.

Cathay will continue its year-round service to Madrid Barajas, currently scheduled three times a week as well on the A350-900.

Cathay recently completed its initial A350 order after taking delivery of 30 A350-900s and 18 larger A350-1000s from Airbus.
