Fasano Group is set to open its first UK property, with plans to develop a hotel in London’s Mayfair district.

There are currently no further details on the property or its planned opening date, but the PR company representing the group in the UK confirmed the news in a press release unveiling Fasano’s latest Brazilian hotel.

The release also states that a Fasano property is under development in Miami, with a scheduled opening date of 2025.

Founded by Brazilian businessman and entrepreneur Gero Fasano, the Fasano Group currently comprises ten hotels across Brazil, Uruguay and the US, as well as around 25 restaurants.

Last month saw the opening of Fasano Sao Paulo Itaim (pictured above), the group’s second hotel in Brazil’s financial centre.

The property features 107 rooms and suites, as well as a rooftop pool with views over the city and nearby Jardim Europa district, a spa with five treatment rooms and two saunas, and Gero, an indoor-outdoor restaurant offering “a relaxed yet elegant culinary concept rooted in the brand’s Italian origins”.

Other locations for the Fasano hotels brand include New York, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Salvador.

Business Traveller will report further on the Mayfair development as and when more details become available.
