Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas will finally open its first Irish property, with the long-awaited rebranding of The Marker hotel in Dublin.

Business Traveller first reported on the plans for this hotel in October 2019, with the rebranding subsequently delayed.

Located in the city’s Docklands district, the property has reopened as Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel following a multi-million euro renovation.

The renovation has seen the introduction of contemporary design and the refurbishment of 187 guest rooms, along with a refreshed lobby and bar area with new soft furnishings, bespoke cabinetry and custom furniture.

The property also features a new restaurant, Forbes Street by Gareth Mullins, which offers “contemporary cuisine with a unique Irish twist” featuring locally sourced ingredients.

The hotel also boasts an Anantara Spa, complete with an infinity pool, sauna and eucalyptus-infused steam room, a rooftop terrace with panoramic city views and eight meeting and event spaces.
