Air Canada is set to launch a daily nonstop seasonal service between London Heathrow and Mumbai on October 29.

The service is part of the carrier’s daily Toronto-Mumbai flights and will be operated with B787 Dreamliner aircraft configured with three cabins.

Flight times are as follows:

AC856 departs London Heathrow 1110, arrives in Mumbai 0140 (following day)

AC855 departs Mumbai 0450, arrives in London 0920

The route will run until March 24, 2023, subject to final government approvals.

“We are extremely pleased to announce the launch of our new non-stop fifth freedom service between London Heathrow and Mumbai.

“Our new flights will provide our customers in the U.K. with a direct link to India’s vibrant and largest city, Mumbai. We look forward to welcoming our customers on board Air Canada.”

Last month the carrier resumed its year-round nonstop service from London Heathrow to Halifax, Nova Scotia. It also offers nonstop services from London Heathrow to Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary.
