The hotel also plans to introduce innovative F&B concepts that combine local and international elements, with an emphasis on hand-picked ingredients, seasonality, freshness and taste.

Other hotel facilities include a 24-hour gym, a 25-metre outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi, two meeting rooms with natural daylight and an executive lounge with an outdoor terrace.

Specially curated tours will be arranged for in-house guests to discover Lantau Island, including private boat trips with Champagne and canapés, pink dolphin spotting and guided tours to the Big Buddha statue and Po Lin Monastery.

The brand’s signature “Inspired by her” concept will be also extended to the new hotel, with a range of activities, amenities and services tailored to female travellers.

The new hotel will add to the growing portfolio of MGallery by Sofitel properties in Asia as the 33rd property in the region. It will be connected to Citygate Outlets and form part of the Citygate integrated project along with another Accorhotels property, Novotel Citygate Hong Kong, which opened in 2006.

Commenting on the news, Nicholas Cullum, Cluster General Manager of The Silveri MGallery by Sofitel and Novotel Citygate Hong Kong said, “We are delighted to be bringing Accor’s highly acclaimed MGallery by Sofitel brand to Hong Kong for the first time, creating a stylish new hotel which will be memorable, exciting and unique – and disrupt conventional luxury hospitality in the city.”
