Speaking at the launch, Hull Live editor Jamie Macaskill said: “Having handled Brexit uncertainty, the impact of a global pandemic and now being challenged by a recovery dogged by high energy prices, supply issues and a cost of living crisis, our business community continues to amaze and inspire.

“We’ve seen huge strides being made in tech development alongside significant progress across the traditional industries that make Hull and East Yorkshire the great place to do business that we know it is.

“With major inward investment from new and existing operators continuing to flow, the freeport opportunity and the ever-expanding work in renewables and decarbonisation, we’re more than holding our own - and many are thriving not just surviving.

“Last year’s return to a live event was quite the celebration, and I can’t wait to see that spirit returned as we hear of the amazing feats and excellent endeavours undertaken.”
